CURRICULUM VITAE

PhD in Political science from University of Liverpool with strong expertise in aspects relating to management and production within the blue bioeconomy. Extensive experiences with international research project management and interdisciplinary collaboration across research and industry. A strong network including researchers and industry in the Faroes Islands and abroad. Good track record in securing funding for international research projects. Over a 10- year period, I have been part of core project consortium teams obtaining funding for 7 large EU research projects with a total budget of over 55 million EUR, of which 2.2 million EUR (16.5 M DKK) were allocated to my research institution. Secured funding from private industry to establish Blue Resource foundation – private, a not-for-profit research centre, in 2020, where I am currently CEO.
